Finally I bought a new copy of Sofia Coppola's Lost In Translation. My previous two copies have wrecked subtitles, so I'm glad to have one that gets it right. This strange film depicts "lost" so well that it feels normal to be lost. Welcoming my new Sony VAIO FW480! The old Acer gone dead a few weeks ago, after rendering some serious stuffs (even cinema-grade short movie) for 2 years. Now this 16" monster with 6 gigs of ram should do even bigger things. Those extra 4" really makes the whole difference! Anyway I'm a bit bored with black and white photos. Maybe will submit more colorful ones next time. Considering to buy a flash or two. Now how do I get the money...

Saya tidak punya banyak komentar untuk tahun 2009. Angkanya bagus (walaupun mungkin itu sugesti dunia gadget: tiba-tiba setiap angka bermakna spesial layaknya model handphone). Jumlahnya juga masih 365 hari. Entah kenapa saya sedang tidak mau mendeskripsikan tahun ini sebagai kumpulan momen-momen fantastik yang tidak akan terlupakan. Yah, setiap tahun sih juga pasti begitu: tahun itu hanya sebuah satuan untuk menjelaskan kumpulan hari-hari. Pendiskritan sesuatu yang kontinu. Untuk alasan yang sama juga, film biasanya terdiri dari adegan-adegan singkat (pernahkah terbayang menonton adegan slow-motion The Matrix, tapi mencakup satu hari penuh?
